Computer and Password Security

At LAPCF, we deal with a great deal of confidential information, therefore it is of the utmost importance that we keep our computers and passwords secure.  

• Please remember to keep your computer locked at all times that you are not within sight of it by hitting CTRL + ALT + DEL and then hitting the Enter key.
• Please do not write your password (Claimtrack or Windows) on paper!  It is very easy for someone to look around your computer and find your password if it is written down.  I do not mind resetting your password if you ever forget it, so please feel free to call me as often as necessary to change it!  (This happens to nearly everyone (myself included!); there is no reason to be embarrassed about it!  If I am unavailable, Cathy Moss can also reset passwords. 
• Finally, do not give out your password out to anyone.
